Pearl Millet

Pearl millet, scientifically known as Pennisetum glaucum, is a type of small-seeded cereal crop that belongs to the millet family. It is also known by various other names, including bajra (in Hindi), kambu (in Tamil), sajje (in Kannada), and bulrush millet. Pearl millet is believed to have originated in Africa and has been cultivated for thousands of years, primarily in regions with arid and semi-arid climates.
